"Delicious fish and chips. Probably one of the top 5 I’ve had in NZ and I’ve been hunting for a while. Perfectly crispy chips (somewhat rare in NZ) and the crumbed fish was super yum! Too bad I’m not local or I’d be making it my regular fish and chip shop!

"Unfortunately my 3rd time getting fish and chips from here has been a bad experience. I ordered 1 battered fish, 1 pan seared fish, 1 scoop of chips, 1 scoop of wedges and 2 sausages. Everything was very stale except for the sausages. I ordered online and headed over straight away to pick up (10 mins away from my house). The other times where I ordered ahead, it was fine and the food was very fresh. This time the food was hot, but stale. Suggesting I was served reheated/refried food. It was also peak time, the restaurant was packed, and the waiting area was also full of people waiting for their take away orders. Not sure how they stuffed this up so badly. Probably because it was an online order and they might have felt it to be less of a loss if they serve old food and I don't show up to collect. Still, this gets a 1 star from me for blatantly, and without regard, serving old food.

"Very busy takeaway shop right opposite the Paraparaumu beach. Well organised chaos, pretty quick with orders despite being very busy. Food was great, crumbed terakihi was spectacular.
